On November 25,our college held a collective lesson planning meeting for the course Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Socialist Theory with Chinese Characteristics. The meeting aimed to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on the construction of ideological and political courses, and advance the“Three Integrations”initiative—integrating the fifth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China into teaching materials,classrooms,and students’minds.

Xu Yeqin, Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Geng Liang, Director of the Undergraduate School’s Academic Affairs Office, attended the meeting. The college reported on its progress in theoretical learning and course construction. Multiple teachers exchanged insights on integrating the latest theoretical achievements into curriculum teaching.
Xu Yeqin emphasized that thoroughly studying and applying the fifth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China and implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee are important political tasks. As the main channel and front for ideological and political education, I&P courses must focus on“in-depth learning, thorough understanding,effective teaching, and practical implementation.” He urged raising political standing, strengthening a sense of mission, and continuously enhancing the relevance and appeal of I&P courses.
More than 30 teachers and students from the college participated in the meeting.
